In this activity-focused 3-day summer workshop, your child will learn the basics of writing a story, focusing on character and plot development. Your child will also learn how to give respectful feedback and how to apply suggestions for improvement with an open mind. Most of all, this experience will boost their confidence with writing and encourage them to have fun with the written word.

MARY LOCKE JOLLEY earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from California State University Fresno and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Southern Virginia University. After teaching college writing for ten years, she decided to chase her dream to sit in her pajamas all day and play with her imaginary friends (also known as writing books.
